Recently I had some Zoom calls with people who are "living transcendence" without making any song and dance about it - "hidden mystics" I call them. And some of them were not affiliated with any tradition, path or teaching and didn't have a ready-made language to describe how they perceived themselves and the world.
When I explored with them or interviewed them about their experience / state of being / understanding, a few times they came to a point where, no matter how much they tried, they just couldn't find words to describe it.
The expression on their faces at those points was a mixture of helplessness and self-irony - beautiful self-aware vulnerability.
Such an expression communicated to me clearly and doubtlessly their experience / state of being / understanding.
I think they were quite relieved and happy when I told them that.
